Dumitru Zaiț
President

University Professor, Doctor of Economics at the University "Alexandru Ioan Cuza", Iasi. He has published over 200 articles and studies in the country and abroad and 16 papers in specialized publishing houses. The main lines of the works published are intercultural management, investment, economic intelligence and research methodology.

The most important papers published in the last 15 years are: Intercultural Management. Valuing cultural differences (Economic Publishing House, 2002), Assessing and managing direct investments (Sedcom Libris, 2008), La recherche en management et en économie. Repères épistémologiques et méthodologiques (L'harmattan, 2009), Intercultural Diagnostic (University Publishing House "Alexandru Ioan Cuza" University, 2012)

He conducts doctoral research in economic sciences, the specialized area of Management. He is an expert evaluator on research projects. He led a significant number of programs and projects of national and international research.

About Cross-Cultural Management Journal

The idea that formed the base of the editation and deveopment of the journal was my own experience of meeting and confronting different occidental realities,with schools and academic formation processes from different developed European countries, expecially France, Germany, Italy, Spain and Switzerland.
In this way, we noticed the great variety of forms and formulas, of structures and mechanisms of academic formation, in economy and Management in particular.
We couldn't notice the depths and intimicies of this sort of philosophies and ways of resolving problems of academic formation, because each of them was part of the respective cultures.
The importance granted to these specific aspects in each of these countries/cultures and the possible solutions emerges from here, including the roles and the position that must be granted to the comprehension and the valorification of the cultural aspects and the differences that exist at this level.

Claude MARTIN
Université Pierre Mendès France de Grenoble, France

Claude Martin is Professor Emeritus at the University Pierre Mendes France in Grenoble, where he was from 1982 to 1987, vice president of research and, from 2006 to 2007, vice president for studies and university life. He is Director of the "Groupe de Recherche et d'Etude en gestion" (GREG) and President of the Network of Group Vyšehrad (PGV Network). He is author or co-author of numerous publications in marketing, organization, and management. Director of "Cahiers Franco-Polonais", coordinator of several international action programs in Poland and Slovakia, he developed since 1990, many research about the enterprises in the group of Vyšehrad countries and, more recently, on European socio-economic dynamics. Visiting Professor at several European universities, including, Bulgaria, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia and the Czech Republic, Claude Martin was elected in 1992, Honorary Member of the Polish Academy of Sciences. In 1999, he received the Medal of the Polish National Education. He is co-founder, since 2009, of the new scientific journal "Management & Gouvernance". Enterprises-Territories-Societies and member of the editorial board of several foreign reviews. In France he is vice-president of the international committee of " La Revue des Sciences de gestion". In 2010, the Economic University in Bratislava attribute him the scientific degree of Doctor Honoris Causa. In 2014, he received the degree of doctor honoris causa from the University of the West Timisoara.
